The GAS system's intelligent camera illuminates the moving product and measures the light reflections, converting the reflection into an analog signal that is then transformed into the gloss index. The oily surface of the product causes greater light reflections, so a high reflection indicates poor absorption of fats and/or oils. When the absorption is notable and efficient, then the reflection will be low and your products will be at the level of the market, thus being more competitives.
